Monthly Dinner Club

This is a blogspot which will serve as a Restaurant Review for our Monthly Dinner Club. We are based in Cape Town and have visited restaurants since January 2001. Each month, one of the Organisers selects a new restaurant with the only rule being that it is not allowed to be a venue that the Monthly Dinner Club or one of the Organisers have frequented before.

Reviews:

1. Waiters need more training, they do not appear to be able to take more than 3 drinks orders at a time.

2. Tuna main was not great - tuna was dry & rice was 'pap', malva pudding was great!

3. Ostrich was great. Ravioli was a bit dodgy. Ditto!

4. Food was tasty - not bad for a trainign facility.

5. Ravioli was tasty but not a lot of it. The waiters are defnitely 'in training'. They need quite a bit more training before being unleashed on the world. Must still try dessert.

6. Beef steak was good, waiters were far too shy… inexperienced and lack of confidence.

7. Line fish was very tasty - soup was also good, must still try pudding. Waiters need more training!

8. Food was good. Many bones in the fish but the dessert made up for it. Soup was cool - still looking for the bread though.
