Monthly Dinner Club

This is a blogspot which will serve as a Restaurant Review for our Monthly Dinner Club. We are based in Cape Town and have visited restaurants since January 2001. Each month, one of the Organisers selects a new restaurant with the only rule being that it is not allowed to be a venue that the Monthly Dinner Club or one of the Organisers have frequented before.

Reviews:
- Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Well worth every cent!

- The atmosphere is amazing, the food was fantastic, the show was awesome and company great as always - hats off to 'Madame Zingara' for making something special from a potential disaster.
- Food was great, entertainment awesome. And Mojo was not a slowjo so the service was fine.

- Absolutely fabulous! A "must do" experience. Such a diverse group of diners, and all let their "hair down"! Atmosphere is out of this world. Food was good (springbok shank fell off the bone), but on par with the lamb shank at Broadway. Pudding very rich, but the overall experience is worth every penny spent! Well done Nadine for organising this.

-We had a great time (some more than others!!!). Food was delicious, Atmosphere was superb and the Show was outstanding.
- Madame Zingara Theatre of Dreams is well worth a visit. The venue is different and interesting, but beautiful; the atmosphere is great and our waiter took very good care of us. The food is great! I can understand why they are famous for their chocolate chilly steak and the desserts were really good. The show was amazing from beginning to end. I will definately recommend a visit.

Joe Fish

Name: Joe Fish

Bring own Alcoholic drinks (no corkage charge) as the place is not licensed.

This is a new seafood place so there are not many links on the internet, besides this one: http://www.tonight.co.za/index.php?fSectionId=350&fArticleId=3802197

Lucy did however read a very good write up about it in a magazine so I’m sure you will be able to order a ‘good value for money and hearty meal’.
