Monthly Dinner Club

This is a blogspot which will serve as a Restaurant Review for our Monthly Dinner Club. We are based in Cape Town and have visited restaurants since January 2001. Each month, one of the Organisers selects a new restaurant with the only rule being that it is not allowed to be a venue that the Monthly Dinner Club or one of the Organisers have frequented before.

Reviews:

- Love the venue. My food was a bit disappointing, though.

- The venue is great, the food below expectation

- Venue fun but food only OK for price tag

- Nice venue - Food not so great - stay away from the CRAYFISH!!

- Food was a bit bland, but the venue is fantastic. Great company (as always). Going to miss it : ( - A

- Venue was different, but nice. Food good and bed comfortable

- Venue different! Tuna is recommended. Table quiet - table next door made up for it though!

- Great atmosphere. Food was good. Starters a bit small, Sushi & Tuna good. Bed - great idea.

- Great venue; beds very cosy and surprisingly comfortable! Starters to share - some portions small, but delicious!! Can recommend starter Springrolls, duck and cranberry, chicken satay, ravioli main portion small, but delicious. Bento box interesting - will visit again!

- Great venue - beds very unusual, Crayfish ravioli very tasty. Very interesting Play Bunny party next door & of course the men kept on gate-crashing it.

- Really great time! Chicken Schnitzel very good & generous portion. Beds create a fun atmosphere. Rather pricey but well worth it. Excellent night out.

- Fantastic. I'm pissed, can't write so lekker. Great kiv royales! - Starters to share were good but small portions, so order enough. - The mains: seared tuna was great, so was the calamari. - Dessert in a box was great too. - Good ambiance - lovely setting. Loved the place. - Good choice Nadine!
